What is a housing association? 
Housing associations are organisations that provide homes, through rent or through purchase (with Low Cost Home Ownership schemes), for people who cannot afford to purchase a property on the open market. They are located throughout Wales and cater for a wide range of housing needs. Housing associations are not-for-profit organisations and are managed by boards of unpaid volunteers.
