Real Estate In Phoenix
Real estate in Phoenix has traditionally been considered a sleepy small town market. A few years ago, there was a limited downtown section with a few office buildings, surrounded by a residential area. There was almost nothing to keep residents downtown. Without a sports arena or performance venues, there was just no reason to stay after office hours. But now that has changed completely. With concert venues, theaters and easy access to professional football, baseball and basketball teams, downtown Phoenix has become the place to be…and a place to stay.
The number of condominium buildings is rising in the area, with world-class resorts and hotels close at hand and outstanding restaurants seemingly on every corner. Young urbanites looking to shorten their commute to work, as well as the retirees drawn by the prospect of luxury living with low maintenance, are attracted to downtown Phoenix.
This sudden growth and increase in disposable income has made the downtown corridor very appealing to both investors and homeowners. The advantages of condominium living is that they provide almost every thing one could ask for; no yard work, short commutes views of the desert, easy access to downtown businesses, walking distance to sport events, nightclubs, concerts and art galleries. The combination of convenience, choice and rising property values has sparked a construction boom rivaled only by Las Vegas in neighboring Nevada
